I have decided to call my blog Reflections by KC Bead Designs after much thought and discussion about what I will write about here. In all of the musing I have done to get to this title, I decided to look up musing in the Thesaurus: English (US) and found musing – thought (n.), synonym: thought, consideration, deliberation, rumination, reflection, meditation. So I came to the conclusion that I will be writing about my jewelry store, my new designs and jewelry pieces, fashion trends and colors, reflecting on my love of  jewelry design and beading and how I see my business growing in the ecommerce world of the Internet.

First, I would like to introduce you to my website KC Bead Designs where I am the owner, designer, and jewelry artist for all of the handcrafted items in my store. KC Bead Designs specializes in affordable • unique • one-of-a-kind necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and fashion accessories in crystal, glass, gemstone, pearls, and wire. My jewelry designs range from the beautifully classic to the trendy and unique — mother’s-grandmother’s bracelets, birthstone family jewelry, bridal and prom jewelry, beaded id lanyard holders, and fashion jewelry accessories for all occasion wear. My jewelry is designed for casual everyday wear, corporate and business attire, a school dance or Prom, and formal wear for the bride and bridal party. I have something for every phase and event of your life!

I use very good quality Czech glass beads, imported glass bead mixes, semi-precious gemstone beads, Swarovski crystals and other fine imported crystal beads. I use sterling silver findings and components as well as some excellent plated beads and findings to keep my prices competitive. My jewelry pieces are strung on multi-cable plastic coated beading wire for strength and flexibility to prevent kinking. My standards for quality are high and my jewelry pieces reflect that.

KC Bead Designs also welcomes custom orders and requests. It is so much fun to make someone else’s ideas come to life!

Since KC Bead Designs is a one-woman shop and many of my items are one-of-a-kind, my inventory changes daily. If I have sold an item you were interested in, email me to ask if a similar item can be made for you. For bridal party designs, duplicate items can be made or we can decide on a color theme and create matching pieces to fit each person’s style.
