KC Bead Designs handcrafted beaded jewelry specializing in affordable • unique • one-of-a-kind • beaded necklaces, beaded bracelets, beaded earrings, and fashion accessories using crystal, glass, gemstones, pearls, and wire. Artisan jewelry and accessories to accent your life — casual wear, special occasions, formal events, or to make your own style statement!   That is the description I usually add to my logos appearing on directories and other advertising venues on the web.  Handcrafted artisan jewelry is a very competitive market and it seems everyone knows someone who “makes” jewelry.  

I consider myself a jewelry artist, a jewelry designer, a craftsman in my chosen field.  I have studied countless books on color, design, and jewelry basic techniques.  I have spent years and tons of money on beads and findings and gemstones, etc. to find out what works together and what doesn’t.  Sometimes, to my husband’s dismay, a lot of it didn’t work out in the beginning and I started all over again.  I enjoy “making” jewelry.  I find each strand of beads I purchase a new adventure to explore, a journey to match the beads, accents, spacers, pendants, etc. into a design I see in my mind’s eye.   Here are the newest designs I have “seen” and created.

Genuine Freshwater Potato Pearls and Jet Marquis Beads Necklace Set  – $42.00

White potato shape 8x9mm freshwater pearls surround 25mm black glass marquis shape beads with crystal fire-polish beads.  Length is 17″ – 20″ adjustable with lobster clasp and chain.  Matching earrings have sterling silver fish hook ear wires and 2-1/2″ drop.

Simulated Turquoise Pendant & Crystals Necklace – $35.00

This is a large simulated turquoise teardrop shape pendant (2-3/8″) with a handcrafted wire bail and embellishments with Swarovski 6mm Colorado topaz crystals and silver ball beads strung on multi-strands of turquoise and taupe silk strands, plum-black-turquoise seed beads, and beige and brown waxed cotton cord.  Length is 18″ – 20″ adjustable with lobster clasp and chain.

Amber Glass-Pearls-Stone Bead Necklace Set – 37.00

White glass pearls and amber glass fire-polish beads in scallop design highlight 30mm round stone lentil beads all accented with silver plated spacers and round beads.  Length is 18″ adjustable to 20″ with lobster clasp and chain.  Sterling silver fish hook ear wires have 2″ matching bead dangle.

Pink Briolettes Pink Crystals Necklace Set – $35.00

Pink faceted glass briolettes spaced with pink Swarovski bicone crystals and silver lines seed beads with silver plated chain.  Length is 16″ – 19″ adjustable with lobster clasp.  Matching earrings 2″ drop from sterling silver french hook ear wires.  

 Cloisonne, Freshwater Pearls & Gold Chain Necklace Set   -  $37.00

Cloisonne 10mm disc beads with twisted gold wire have faceted crystal rondelles, plum freshwater pearls and gold plated corrugated beads with gold plated cable chain.  Length is 24″ with gold metal filigree tab clasp.  Matching earrings have 2″ drop from gold plated fish hook ear wires. 

Blue Foil Art Glass Necklace Set    -   $36.00

Blue and silver foil round art glass pendant with matching diamond shape accent beads surrounded by blue and crystal silver lined seed beads spaced by sterling silver plated curved tube beads attached to light blue suede cord.  Length is 18″ – 20″ adjustable with lobster clasp and chain.  Matching earrings have 2-1/2″ drop from hypo-allergenic nickle free fish hook ear wires.   

Black Teardrop Beads with Silver and Pearls Necklace Set    -  $32.00

Black faceted glass teardrop beads are surrounded by black and silver glass pearl dangles, crystal faceted fire-polish beads, sterling silver daisy spacers and silver plated ball beads.
