Recently I spent some time looking over website statistics such as traffic, unique visitors, keyword searches, and what the web crawlers see.  I decided it was time for an update and new look for the website.  It’s a good idea to look over these things on a regular basis so you know where your website visitors are coming from, how long they stay on your site and what pages are visited.  It’s fairly easy to review these statistics by creating accounts with companies that keep track of these for you and through Google webmaster tools. 

As a result of reviewing this information I made a change in the fall adding international shipping to my website because I saw maps and illustrations noting where the hits on my website originated from.  I had a large portion of people visiting my website from Canada and England as well as some other regions.  This information told me I was eliminating possible customers by shipping only to the US.  Now I just need the search engines to catch up with me so visitors see me in their searches.

Another reason for a new updated look for the website is I have added a new category and featured jewelry line to my website/store.  I am practicing and working on several tutorials for wire wrapped and sculpted wire pendants.  I enjoy working in this medium and plan to add several different types of wire wrapped jewelry designs.
